Welcome! Please note, at this time, we are only able to process online applications for our traditional Adult Career Certificate Programs. If you are interested in any of our other programs, please call the school. 

School Counselors will discuss your career goals with you. Persons at least 16 years of age and not enrolled in high school may apply for adult admission via the following steps.

1. Call STC at 941-924-1365 / Ext. 62283 or our North Port Branch at 941-257-2252
Schedule an appointment with a school counselor to discuss STC Programs, Services, Costs, and Financial Aid.

2. Complete an STC Application.
Programs leading to licensure/certification require additional information.

3. Pay a $45 Application Fee.

4. Take a Basic Skills Test if required.
*All Criminal Justice Academy Applicants must take the CJBAT/FBAT.

5. Meet with an STC School Counselor.
Review test results, receive information about specific programs, and enroll in your selected program.

NOTE: Some programs require additional fees for background checks and/or other application procedures.
